  2. “lalang” refers mainly to God’s act of creation; this is a borrowed Bikol (Naga) word popularized obviously by the Spanish Friar’s “Standard Bikol” dictionary published during the Spanish occupation of the Philippines and used extensively in Church prayers and services all over the Bikol region.
